Great Lakes Elliot Ness
Had one of these at the brewpub last week and picked up a six pack to drink with friends the other night. Elliot Ness pours a beautiful amber red, completely clear throughout and holds its head well. In the nose, its toasty and you can smell the sweetness of the malts. The taste of this beer is also very sweet, toasty, and grainy, however it is a well balanced beer. The grainy taste lingers at the end. Its a crisp, well carbonated lager. Very refreshing! Its a good beer for those who may not be the biggest fan of hops and bitter beers. A must try at the brewpub.
Interesting fact:
According to Great Lakes, the Eliot Ness frequented the Brewpub’s bar from 1935-1941 and, according to popular legend, was responsible for the bullet holes in the bar still evident today.

Hopping Frog's Boris Oatmeal Imperial Stout
Wow, great beer another brew paired well with dessert. Had one of these with some West Point Market Killer Brownies the other night.

DFH Black and Blue
I am drinking Dogfish Head Black and Blue. I'm usually a IPA type of girl but, Black and Blue is one of my favorite fruit beers. So, the beer is a Belgian Golden Ale with brewed with tons of fresh pureed blueberries and blackberries. Not only does it have the sweetness and tartness of fruit beers that I love, there is also a hop presence. It is well carbonated and refreshing.
I was lucky enough to attend a Dogfish Beer and Food pairing this summer at the Brewpub. The best kind of dessert is Beer!

V E Wine and Beer
http://vewinebeer.com/
Vintage Estate Wine and Beer, was rated #1 Best Beer Retailer in the World 2010 on ratebeer.com. The store currently houses over 830 craft beer labels and over 1000 wine labels. If you are looking for a beer this place probably has it.
This a six pack I picked up over the summer: as far as I remember there is that's a victory whirlwind, then some brew dog, stone, smuttynose and a great lakes beers in there. Also, some pictures of their tasting room area.

Dogfish Head Punkin Ale
Dogfish Head Punkin Ale. One of the many reasons I love the fall season.
Punkin Ale pours golden orange in color with a thin tan head. In the aroma, you can smell the spice.. the cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and pumpkin. Well carbonated, balanced pumpkin ale. In the taste there is malt sweetness, nutmeg and cinnamon spice, as well as the pumpkin throughout. Very good beer, not overly sweet. Perfect Punkin Ale.

Stone Ruination IPA
This is a very intense beer. The aroma is nothing but hops and lots of them. I would call this beer liquid hops, so you better be serious about hops before you even try this one! The taste is citrusy, pineapple, grapefruit and piney... ending with a lingering hop bitterness.
